MJ from Muddy Rooter is Awesome. Very responsive and I feel that is Just as important as doing a good job which he also did. Repiped my Entire Condo at a reasonable price and was trusting enough for me to hand key from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Warning Signs
A failing septic system rarely fixes itself, and signs such as backups or soggy ground often mean the tank or drain field needs work.

Questions
Sewage backing up indoors, bright green spongy grass or soggy ground over the drain field, and strong odors near the tank or field are common signs of failure, according to the EPA. Once solids have clogged a drain field, pumping alone will not fix it. If the system is not yet failing, septic tank pumping is worth checking first, and drain cleaning helps when only the house drains are slow.
The county board of health issues the construction permit after a soil evaluation. No one may backfill or use a new system until the county signs off.
Tank size set by the number of bedrooms, the soil test results, the size of the drain field, and how easy the site is to dig all change the price. A home with a garbage disposal needs a tank 50 percent larger in Georgia. Get a free estimate
Georgia's smallest approved septic tank is 1,000 gallons, and the size is set by the number of bedrooms in the home.
Georgia treats soil that drains very slowly as unsuitable for a septic system unless a soil specialist's study and an engineer's site plan show the design can overcome it. A wet spot in the yard can also be a leaking water line, so leak detection is worth ruling out, and a damaged sewer line is a job for sewer line repair.
